Over and Over Again

Our city landscape is constantly in flux. I’m fascinated by what is built, preserved and celebrated versus what gets demolished, abandoned or forgotten. Overwhelmed by the possibilities of what augmented reality presents, I came to my concept by virtue of what is generally not possible when it comes to public art. I chose to depict ephemeral craft materials like cardboard, glitter, beads and wire, haphazardly engaging with the architecture of the site. I wanted to create something precarious, impermanent and playful.
