Luke Sanders is a Sacramento native and an Art Studio major in his final semester of undergraduate work at California State University, Sacramento. His work is focused on figure drawing and painting.  He is also learning how to make digital portraits.  A visual and tactile learner, He believes that art education is crucial for students of all ages and disciplines. Luke hopes to purse a career in education, either incorporating art into elementary school curriculum or advocating for art and new media funding in public schools. As someone who benefits daily from public art in Sacramento, he is very excited to participate in this installation project.
